Conferences organised by the NSMES

The NSMES organises a Nordic and international conference every three years. The conference is open to all scholars in Middle Eastern studies in the humanities and social sciences, and to international scholars as well.

The 2019 conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland, 14–16 August 2019, on the theme “Breaking and Creating Boundaries in the Middle East.” For the announcement and Call, see here.
